Life’s Events — happen! Some organically, others by design. Some mundane, others noteworthy. Some to only acknowledge, others to dearly cherish. And some other events are to be remembered, commemorated, even celebrated!

Life’s Events, can be glad and can be sad. Smarvellous Designs produces visual keepsakes — animated slideshows and videos — for both the joyful and the sorrowful events in life.

We have all recorded visual memories of those special occasions in life! Those memories are frozen-in-time through multiple still photos. But you can have those static photos produced as a montage and presented in an animated slideshow as a moving keepsake to highlight:

NOTE:

Physical photos can be converted into digital files by the process known as “Photo Digitalization”. A Google search will result in a number of companies providing that service. Once physical photos are converted to a digital file, it will be loaded on a USB stick/Flash Drive to provide to Smarvellous Designs.

The length of the animated slideshow can be as short or as long as you wish. For a duration other than 5 minutes, please contact Smarvellous Designs for a price.

Celebrating The Life Lived

Too many of us have experienced the heartbreak and deep sense of emptiness that occurs when we lose a loved one in death. In the past, ceremonies focused more on the life lost than on the life lived. But times have changed! Society has changed! Today, it is commonplace to have a presentation that celebrates the unique personality of an individual now dearly missed. A presentation that highlights the character and achievements of the loved one, that reflects upon the relationships forged, and how other lives were touched — by The Life Lived! While these presentations vary in form and content, they often now include a visual element.

If you have lost a loved family member or friend, please accept our sincere condolences! We too have suffered a number of such losses. And while the sad fact of the loss cannot now be changed, we found that the raw emotion of the loss was mitigated by a visual presentation displaying the unique personality, the character and achievements, the relationships forged, and the other lives touched, by the life lived! Those — were what we commemorated, even celebrated, and as a result, went away remembering!

Smarvellous Designs can edit the digitized version of your still photos,*so as to concisely portray the personal story of the life lived by your loved one. We can present this unique, individualized story in a touching 10 minute, + animated slideshow. ^Your digitized photos are uploaded from your USB stick/Flash Drive to our computer in the sequence required to tell your desired story. Then the photos are made to appear to move, as a result of: altering the size or colour, applying effects to the entrance and exit of photos as they are presented, utilizing various transitions between photos, along with other techniques. And the movement of one photo to the next photo occurs automatically, at predetermined intervals. The production of an animated slideshow is essentially the creation of a ‘video’ with static photos!

Your animated slideshow will have background music with basic text overlay applied to select photos, thus enabling viewers to more readily understand the storyline being related. And, as an extra, sound effects can be added and/or a voiceover can be produced that will narrate the lived experiences depicted throughout the slideshow presentation.

And if desired, as an extra, Smarvellous can produce a QR Code to link to your host platform. An associate company can reproduce the QR Code on a durable substrate that you can then have attached to the memorial marker; this can be scanned and the slideshow or video viewed at the graveside.
